Founded in 1932 by a small group of local outdoor sportsmen, Great Swamp Fish, Game, & Forestry Association is a non-profit organization located in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
For 80+ years our mission has been:
- Unite and bind together interested sportsmen and women.
- Meet, exchange views, educate, and endeavor by concerted efforts to further true sportsmanship.
- Assist Game, Fish, Forest, and Water Departments of Pennsylvania.
- Bring about more friendly relations between landowners, tenant’s, and sportsman.
- Foster the improvement and purification of our streams.
- Assist in forestation.
- Control vermin.
We are especially focused on creating both social and outdoor learning opportunities for our youth- and in doing so- sponsor a variety of annual activities including Youth Field Day, Hunter Safety Training, Fly tying & rod building, Annual Trout Derby, Kids Fishing Day, Easter Egg Hunt, & Kids Xmas Party.
Executive Meetings
Executive Meetings are generally held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7PM. The executive committees discuss and plan for events and budgets for the coming months, and ensure guidance for the programs for the coming year.
General Membership Meetings
General Membership Meetings often feature special guests such as the Pennsylvania Game Commission or the PA Fish & Boat Commission. We generally have 50/50 drawings, free snacks & refreshments, and offer club apparel & related gear for sale during the months of new member enrollment.
